How to Participate?
Are you an entrepreneur, with a company created less than 5 years ago, and currently raising funds (between 100K and 3M)?
So apply to try your luck! The selection of projects by the jury will be according to the schedule below and before the SHAKA Startup Challenge on August 27.
Eligibility criteria
The call for startups for this 1st edition is open to B2B / B2C / SaaS companies worldwide, using AI or Web 3 technology as a main feature, that are less than 5 years old and raising funds (between 250K and 3M).
Funding Stage
Startups at the pre-seed, seed, or Series A stage are eligible. They can be at the idea, prototype, early user, or paying customer stage.
Industry
The call for startups for this 1st edition is deliberately broad: SaaS, enterprise software, business solutions, cloud solutions, or B2B, whether it is a SaaS AI startup or B2B with integrated AI or Web 3 technology.
What Happens on D-Day?

Timeline until D-Day
The SHAKA Startup Challenge will take place in three phases:
👉 Startups that apply before August 10 and those pre-selected for the final will be invited to participate in this event.
👉 They can attend the day and the fundraising Masterclass for free.
👉 Those selected will pitch to the jury (6-minute pitch + questions per startup) during a session fully open to the public in a dedicated space.
The jury will deliberate to give their verdict at the end of the afternoon the same day and present the awards to the different startups.
